Welcome to our renewed website! Our clinic is still located in Centro Romano, next to the bull ring in Nueva Andalucia, opposite to Puerto Banus, Marbella. We have expanded with a new surgery which includes the best equipment and features in a pleasant surrounding. Our previous surgery is now equipped for cleanings and whitening treatments by our dental hygienist. Our goals have remained the same: To take care of your teeth in a pleasant surrounding, always with our philosophy in mind: HEALTHY-STRONG-BEAUTIFUL. In other words: a perfectly healthy and solid foundation first in order to make aesthetically good and natural looking teeth.

And talking of natural: all restorations can be done without the use of any metal. Fillings, crowns and even bridges do not longer require any metal component. We don't use amalgam and strongly belief that removal of your amalgam fillings can be beneficiary to your health. We aim for perfection, without any compromise. Modern dentistry with the latest techniques available. Holistic and biological if possible and wanted. But always friendly and not in a hurry.

How we work

On your first visit to our clinic you will have a consultation with Dr Arts to discuss what your dental expectations are. He will then evaluate the state of your teeth and your general oral health. If necessary, x-rays, photographs and a study model of your teeth will be made. Dr Arts will make a corresponding treatment plan which will be discussed with you in the following appointment session. The various treatment possibilities will be explained accompanied by the estimates. This is yours to keep and review at your own convenience. When you decide to proceed with the treatment proposal you will be given the necessary appointments. After finalizing of the treatment you will be recalled regularly for check ups and maintenance.

With modern anaesthetic techniques, there is absolutely no need to feel any pain during the intervention. Dr Arts pays particular attention to your wellbeing, and with ample treatment time, clear information of what will be done and additional medication and/or sedation if necessary, he will make your experience as stress free as possible.

Sedation

For those with an extreme fear of the dentist, we offer the possibility to undergo treatment under sedation. We use so called laughing gas to put you at ease during treatment.

As mentioned before, our 3 step philosophy is: "HEALTHY-STRONG-BEAUTIFUL". For the first step: making your teeth and gums healthy, we work together with the Periodontal and Implantological Clinic of Dr. Mariano Herrero Climent which is located 500m from our clinic in Centro Plaza. Dr. Herrero has received international recognition in these specialisations in dentistry. If necessary you will be forwarded to him for consultation and treatment. He speaks Spanish and English. For orthodontic treatment, you or your child will be referred to Lourdes Bueno and Jose Nakpil, orthodontists in Marbella. Both Dra. Bueno and Dr. Nakpil have been trained in New York and speak Spanish and English. For their website:

Rootcanal treatment can be complicated. In particular the ones that have been done before but, for some reason, still show signs on infection. Dra. Ana Casero is specialized in the (re)treatment of these teeth and she comes to our clinic once a week.. With patience and precision she finds a solution in most of the cases.
